The Alpha’s Shattered Bonds is the third title in the Feral Hearts Saga series, bringing Seraphina’s and Tyler’s tumultuous romance to the forefront.  

Normally, I’d write a very brief summary about the story (no spoilers) just enough to give you a feel for the story, but this time, Seraphina’s and Tyler’s story is so complex, so full of lies and betrayals from within Tyler’s pack, that I can’t speak too much about their story without giving away what I’d consider major spoilers.  Honestly, there were times when I just wanted to reach into the story and smack them both upside the head for their stubbornness and denial of what was right in front of them if they’d only see it.  Yet, characters rarely listen to me, and really, this is a story that you (the reader) have to immerse yourself in to feel what’s happening firsthand.

I adored Seraphina.  She’s stronger than anyone believed, powerful in her own right, and, eventually, she and her family are vindicated.  Tyler. *sigh*  I’m so conflicted on how I feel about Tyler.  Eventually, he stood on the right side, but it took him so long to really believe and trust in their mate bond.  In all, I enjoyed The Alpha’s Shattered Bonds by Jennifer Eve very much; it’s well-written, complicated, and passionate, with some twists that I didn’t see coming.  If you love a shifter/magic paranormal romance with bite, and characters you’ll either love or loathe, then you’d enjoy this one.
