Deacon Remy left Aspen Valley over a year ago believing there was nothing left for him. He gave up on his Pack. He gave up on finding his true mate. He sought solitude. He became a rogue. It took him some time to gather the strength to face his fears. Now he’s back in Aspen Valley and he’s determined to make amends. What he doesn’t expect to find is the woman who wears his mate mark. Without a doubt, he wants to claim her, but he’ll have to let go of the demons holding him down in the past before they can truly bond.
Monica Collins is so over nonsense relationships that seem to lead nowhere. But as the daughter of a rich doctor, she’s expected to marry into a family with money. She’s running out of options and she’s not one to throw herself at any man’s feet. But then a bad boy rogue shifter shows up in town. Being near him fuels an intense attraction she only thought possible in fairy tales. Deacon may not be a rich playboy, but he most certainly knows how to fulfill all her needs. Monica is willing to risk everything by choosing to do what she knows feels right over what she’s expected to do.
Sexy shifters and their feisty mates who aren’t shy about loving each other – so, this is an adult, 18+ reader tale.

Deacon had left his pack and gone rogue over a year ago. At the time he’d felt he had no other choice. What his father had done, the debts that his grandfather owed, all of it was overwhelming and at the insistence of pack members of that older pack, he cut his losses and left. He headed south and put his mind and back into earning as much cash as possible to pay the debts his family owed back in Aspen Valley. No one expected it of him – no one but himself. Now he’s back and ready to make good on that self made promise On this rainy, stormy night the last thing he expected to encounter was a broken down car on the side of the road – and the beautiful human woman he was beginning to strongly suspect was his mate. Coming home just got complicated.
Monica was naturally wary of the stranger on his motorcycle as he drew up close to her car. He offered assistance, but she was smarter than that. Still there was something about him that made her feel safe, protected in spite of not knowing who he was. She took a risk, said yes to a ride to her father’s home – and stepped into the love that she’d been searching for.
Rogue Wolf is a short romance that lightly touches on events that have happened around Aspen Valley recently. Deacon is coming back to discover a new Alpha has taken over, a more moderate, intelligent Alpha from what he knew. He learns first hand of the murder attempts around the area. And the romance between Monica and Deacon is fun, sexy, and intense. We’ll run into some characters we’ve met in earlier books, although I’m a bit confused on one particular name and time lines but aside from that confusion on my part, Rogue Wolf is a sexy story that I completely enjoyed. I don’t really feel that this story moved the series along any further. Although it did address somethings mentioned earlier on in the series. So, it’s safe to say that while I enjoyed this one, I’m also puzzled by some things – that perhaps will be answered in the next story. The hummingbirds were a sweet touch, and I smiled quite a bit at their references.
In all, I think any Shifter Romance or Paranormal Romance reader would enjoy Rogue Wolf whether you’ve read the earlier stories in the series or not. It’s a fun, sexy story with a likable couple – what’s not to enjoy about that?
