Dane Magnus fought for and won the position of Pack Alpha, but to legally inherit the land left by his late human mother, the shifter needs to marry a human. His plan is easier said than done, especially when not just any woman will do.
Trina Daniels needs six figures to pay for her dad’s surgery. Money she doesn’t have. She’s willing to do whatever it takes. Even if it means pursuing drastic measures, such as entertaining a scandalous, but lucrative offer by the womanizing Dane Magnus.
One steamy night leads to another. With the mate bond intact, there’s nothing either of them can do to tame their luscious desires.
But when outsiders begin to threaten their lives and their chance at happiness, they only have each other to rely on.
Sexy shifters and their feisty mates who aren’t shy about loving each other – so, this is an adult, 18+ reader tale.

Shifter Untamed introduces us to a shifter world where the laws for humans and shifters are far from equal. Often times wrongs are never righted when others use these laws to their own advantage trying to in effect steal from shifters in a totally legal way. This is the situation that Dane is facing right now. In order to keep property belonging to his parents and by rights to him out of the hands of the state and the human developers who want it for their own uses, there are requirements that Dane must meet. Right now. He needs a wife. Temporarily, at least, for about six weeks and a few days in order to fulfill the requirements to keep his property. He’s willing to pay handsomely for a wife for a short period of time, with a lot of stipulations for both of their protection. So far his search isn’t working out very well – but that is about to change due to one woman’s desperate love for her father.
In recent years Trina’s world has been turned upside down. Where once she lived in the big city with a demanding job, now she’s returned home to care for her father and run the family small business. A car crash took her mother’s life and made life changes in her father’s life. His medical bills are sky rocketing and without insurance ti’s up to Trina to find a way to pay for a needed surgery. Her need for a second job that pays well has placed her at an adult nightclub, applying for a server position – and will place her in danger that night. While waiting for the interview she sees an ad on the wall for a temporary wife and stores that information in the back of her mind if this doesn’t work out. She will encounter Dane this night, and a man out to do harm to those in the club. Her life is about to become very interesting, and perhaps place her in more danger than she ever thought possible.
Shifter Untamed is an intriguing story with threads that appear will be woven throughout the series. The author states that these stories can be read in any order, but I’ve listed them as Amazon has in an order that I plan to follow… you, of course, do not have to. Isn’t free will a wonderful thing. *grin*
Dane and Trina make a sexy couple and almost immediately they feel a draw between them that goes far beyond the temporary arrangement they’ve agreed on. There are definitely steamy, sexy moments, yet there is also an interesting subplot that brings danger not only to this couple but Dane’s wolf pack as well. I’m looking forward to seeing how it all plays out during the series.
If you enjoy mystery, intrigue and sexy times, then you’d like Shifter Untamed and the Aspen Valley Wolf Pack series. I would definitely recommend this one for any Shifter Romance reader who enjoys a good story, a likable couple and interesting secondary characters.
It’s possible that you may have read some of the stories in the Aspen Valley Wolf Pack series a few years ago. Several of these stories have been lengthened and now are available as novellas in the series, instead of short stories. I am reading them for the first time now, so I cannot offer any comment on what has been revised or lengthened from the original. My thoughts are based purely on the story I’ve just read. I mention it (and the author does as well) because often times with a new cover we won’t pickup immediately that we’ve read a story before. I am very much a visual, recognize the cover, type of buyer / reader so I mention it in case you are too.
