When a wine-soaked bridesmaid crashes into a grumpy ex-military moose shifter, their electric collision sparks an enemies-to-lovers romance that will leave them both breathless.
Anne Berry is drowning her sorrows at her cousin’s wedding when she literally slams into Hank Matthews, a hulking, gorgeous bartender whose scowl makes her want to both throttle him and drag him to bed. Their disastrous first meeting involves spilled wine, sharp words, and an undeniable spark that leaves them both shaken.
When a Thanksgiving storm traps the feuding pair alone in his tavern with nothing but stolen glances and sexual tension thick enough to cut with a knife, Anne discovers the infuriating man might just be everything she’s been searching for. But with her life three hours away in Sacramento and a teaching career to consider, can she risk everything for the moose shifter whose touch sets her on fire?
From heated arguments to scorching kisses, these two can’t seem to stay away from each other. Sometimes the best love stories begin with the worst first impressions and the most explosive chemistry.

Title: Her Ex-Military Moose Shifter
Series: Branwen Beach Tavern Shifters #6

My Rating: 4.5 stars
Her Ex-Military Moose Shifter is the sixth title in the Branwen Beach Tavern Shifters series, featuring a couple who, at least at the beginning, are more inclined to argue with each other rather than fall straight into bed… which will eventually happen. Anne and Hank start off with some spilled wine and full-body contact… and a fiery argument that definitely creates sparks, both from anger and attraction. These enemies-to-lovers are about to find the time to iron out their differences when they’re trapped in the tavern during a storm. They’re about to go up in flames or walk away from each other for good. It’s going to take a few risks and a good dose of trust before this feuding couple finds that happy-ever-after ending.
I loved this couple, they simply don’t know whether to virbally fight with each other… or tear their clothes off. *grin* Watching them navigate the forced proximity of a storm where they’re shut in with each other *oh, the horrors!* was a delightful, satisfying romance. Their story is passionate, emotional, and well-written, like all the titles in this series. If that sounds like your kind of Shifter Romance, then you’re gonna love Anne and Hank’s romance.
