Her Ex-Military Hawk Shifter is the second title in the Branwen Beach Tavern Shifters series and brings Zora and Sid together for a passionate, emotional encounter as they each open their hearts to… possibilities.

Zora has returned to her small hometown for personal reasons, including looking for employment.  Sid is the bartender/owner of a local tavern, and the sparks fly between them at their first meeting.  Neither is in the first flush of youth, both having life experiences that have shaped them into the mature adults they are today.  Neither intends to ignore this attraction between them and the story of their sweet, often passionate, emotional journey to take a few risks, let someone into their lives, a person who completes them in so many ways, was such a satisfying reading adventure. 

Her Ex-Military Hawk Shifter is well-written (as I always find with this author), passionate, and emotional, and it delivers a satisfying short romance that keeps you fully engaged throughout.  Easily read in an hour or so, a lunch time break, or a free evening, this story (and series) will definitely capture your imagination… with happy ever after guarantees.

If you’re a reader who has been tempted to step into the “Shifter Romance” world but aren’t quite ready to be hit with the full intensity of that genre, then this series would be an awesome way to “dip your toes into the water” a bit as the Paranormal/Shifter aspects of the story are light, and they often read more like a Contemporary Romance (which is not a bad thing at all, just a Shifter Light experience).  I’d not hesitate to recommend this or any story in the series.  Enjoy.
