Grin and Bear It is the second title in the Enchanted Falls series, and brings us Thora’s and Artair’s no-choice, forced proximity romance.  Thora is a sabertooth shifter, a bounty hunter, and a loner both personally and professionally.  She’s used to going it alone, and perhaps she really knows no other way.  On the hunt for her next bounty, Thora will travel to Enchanted Falls and tackle the wrong bear… or the right one, since it would seem that Artair is her mate, not the thief she was after.  Now, due to a magical misfire of her enchanted handcuffs, they are forced to stay within a very short distance, tethered to each other, for now at least.  Artair is a bear shifter, the head of a business that employs hundreds of people.  He’s a force to be reckoned with.  Yet, one woman, who his bear insists is his mate, has complicated his life beyond measure.  It’s going to take more patience than Artair has ever experienced to get through this.  His mate doesn’t believe in their bond; he’s fighting against mysterious thefts of not only valuable items, but clan-related artifacts, and a rather vocal bear with advice that isn’t helping very much.  Life has suddenly become very interesting.

Grin and Bear It by Milly Taiden is a very emotionally-charged romance.  There is a lot going on for both Thora and Artair aside from their complicated mate bond.  The past doesn’t always stay in the past, and this couple will have numerous mysteries to solve and life adjustments to make.

I loved both Thora and Artair, together and individually.  They are both strong, stubborn individuals… but together, once they get their act together, they are a formidable force.  If you love an emotional, steamy, complex shifter romance, with bits of humor and danger intertwined, then you’d love Grin and Bear It by Milly Taiden.
