After James’ betrayal, both professionally and personally, this design will be my comeback, my redemption.

I’m marking the third boundary point when the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. That unmistakable feeling of being watched.

I slowly turn, expecting to see a curious local, maybe even a ranger, questioning why I’m here. What I don’t expect is the massive white bear standing at the edge of the tree line, completely still, eyes locked on mine.

Holy. Shit.

We lock eyes, and for a moment—a weird, impossible moment—I feel like I’m being assessed, not hunted.

Him: Klyn

What is she doing here, and what makes her think those stakes she’s putting in the ground are even going to be still there by morning?

Why does everyone think this is a great place to build something! Beautiful views and amazing wildlife. No pun intended.

Nope, not going to happen.

Bear Resort Next Door is the third title in the Bear Hearts series, and brings us Olivia’s and Klyn’s unique shifter romance. I certainly hope this series continues with more books, for I am enjoying myself in this world.

Olivia once made the mistake of trusting the wrong person; between personal and career betrayals, she has this one chance to resurrect her career at least. Her boss’s constant changes, not listening to reason, and the mysterious disappearances of materials have her pulling her hair out most days. One unusual bear, who seems to understand her confessions, even if it is a wild animal, will be her one sense of security. She can tell the bear anything, and who is it going to tell? Yeah, right.

Klyn will do anything to keep his clan’s territory clear of the threat of a luxury resort full of humans. It’s not that shifters and humans haven’t lived side by side in this small area… It’s that humans have no clue about the shifters. Despite the connection between them, Klyn still has to stop the construction of the resort and hope that, eventually, his mate will understand.

If you love a well-written, witty, sassy, steamy shifter romance, then Bear Resort Next Door by KC Wilde is perfect for you. I loved Olivia and Klyn both individually and as a couple. The sass and banter kept me chuckling while hoping that Olivia could open her heart to Klyn’s truth. I had fun in this world, and I’m betting you would too.
