Star’s Howl is the fourth title in the Royal Lupine Elementals series, and brings us Seraphina’s and Orion’s tumultuous romance.  On Seraphina’s thirtieth birthday, just like her friends before, her elemental awakened.  Not that she knew that’s what was happening, yet the visions hit hard, and this was no birthday hangover, either.  She studies the stars, logic, and definition of the rules of nature consume her, not mystic, psychic visions of what is to come.  Orion felt his Luna awaken after centuries of waiting for her.  When he finds her on the beach, she’s collapsed from seeing yet another vision, and comes upon her home being broken into.  He will bring Seraphina to his island off the coast of Miami, to protect her, to help her control the visions… but one very stubborn, logic-based human will fight him every step of the way.  Lunas?  Fated mates?  This madness has no place in her world, but she cannot deny the attraction, the pull between them.

But an enemy has also felt Seraphina’s elemental awakening.  A powerful man who will stop at nothing to possess the power she controls, or to capture that power for his own nefarious deeds.  One stubborn Luna will place herself in danger, and one equally stubborn alpha will do everything to save her.

I loved everything about this couple’s romance.  It was just icing on a delicious cake to see all the friends and their alphas come together in this final book in the series.  If you love a well-written, steamy, emotional romance with a heroine who will frustrate you as much as possible in her stubborn denial of what is right before her eyes, and a hero who shines in his pursuit of the only woman for him, then you’d love Star’s Howl by Milly Taiden.
