Ocean’s Whisper is the third title in the Royal Lupine Elementals series, and brings us Isolde’s and Nereus’ tumultuous romance.  Like her friends before her, on Isolde’s 30th birthday, unusual things began happening to and around her.  She’s always loved the ocean, it is why she became a marine biologist… It’s always been as if the ocean speaks to her.  Now the ocean is rising in a massive, unnatural tsunami that destroyed the research facility where she works.  And a stranger enters into her life, bringing confusion, passion, all the while claiming she is his pack’s foreseen Luna, his fated mate.  Talk about crazy!  But is it?

Of all the friends (who are far more than they realize), Isolde is, perhaps, the most stubborn of them all.  Nereus may be hot, and there is more than a little pull of attraction between them, yes, she’ll admit that much.  Yet no man will tell her what to do, where she can go, or how to control something that shouldn’t logically be happening.  She doesn’t need him, or his questioning pack in her life… until she desperately does.

I am so caught up in the Royal Lupine Elementals series; each story is just a bit better than the one before (and they all were amazing).  Nereus might be an arrogant Alpha who knows he’s doing the right things to keep his mate safe, but Isolde softens him, in a good way, as they come together to fight for the future and their pack.  If you love a well-written, steamy, emotional romance with characters you can’t help but root for to find their happiness together, then Ocean’s Whisper by Milly Taiden would be perfect for you.
