I have such fun with The Protectors Quick Bites mini-series co-authored by Keira Blackwood and Eva Knight.  I’m always guaranteed a bit of mystery, some sizzling swoon-worthy moments, an unusual enemy, and the perfect combination of banter and snark from the characters.

OUTFOXED ran true in all of those enjoyable aspects and so much more.

Madison is almost what many people think of as “scientist” except that once she meets Tate she stops being totally scientific – sometimes.  *grin*  Her vulnerability and Tate’s anger at things beyond his control counterbalance each other… just like mates should.  I loved the combination of a raven and wolf being mates. I enjoyed them both and would love to see glimpses of them in future stories.  (As far as to what they are chasing – I’m being vague on purpose because this is a great short story that you should experience for yourself)

There are a few twists that may catch you off guard, some that will definitely leave you with a smile.  That ending… oh, if only I could talk about that.  But you’ll see – and it is well worth the wait.  I had a blast, as I usually do with this series, and now I need another book.  Got any ideas Keira? Eva?  (hint hint for the next Quick Bite)  If you love Shifter Romance, have a love for Paranormal Romance or simply enjoy a quick, sexy story then you’ll fall in love with OUTFOXED.
