The Raven Shifter’s Shadow Mate is the seventh title in the Duskhaven Grove Shifters Destinies series, and brings us Thalia’s and  Corbin’s heartbreaking romance.

Corbin has found his fated mate.  Yet, he believes he’s too dark, too dangerous to allow her into his world.  He’ll break both their hearts with a decision to erase himself from her memories.  Only fate has other plans.  Thalia’s nightmares won’t stop; she’s searching for something, someone just beyond her reach.  Corbin might have tried to wipe her memories of him, of their bond, but by doing so, he may have left her more vulnerable than if she had remained at his side.  

The Raven Shifter’s Shadow Mate by E. H. Wilson is a well-written, intense shifter romance.  While Corbin’s sacrifice may have made sense to him (and him alone), it was the wrong choice. Their story kept me on edge throughout, and watching them fight their way back to each other was an emotional journey.  I enjoyed my time back in this world and would recommend this to any paranormal romance reader who loves an intense relationship, danger, and a stubborn shifter mate.
