Let’s Talk About Hex is the second title in the Mistwhisper Falls series, and brings us Aerin’s and Leo’s unexpected romance.  Neither is looking for their fated mate; both will fight against the pull between them.  Neither trusts the intentions of the other.  One stubborn protector of the town, one researcher determined to prevent a catastrophe, will butt heads as the magical disturbances in this small town continue to escalate.

I enjoyed Aerin and Leo’s journey very much.  Both have issues from their pasts that are impacting how they’re reacting to what’s happening in Mistwhisper Falls.  Eventually, they’re going to have to work together in order to prevent a disaster that will affect cities and small magical towns far beyond their location. The cracks are already beginning to show.

Watching this couple navigate through the danger and the unexpected bond between them was an enjoyable journey.  Although I’m not sure who is more stubborn, Leo or Aerin… might just be a tie.  I had fun back in this world as the dangers increase, the mystery deepens, and fated mates find each other in the midst of chaos.  If you love a well-written, engaging, steamy, emotional paranormal/shifter romance with touches of danger and humor, then you’d love Let’s Talk About Hex by Milly Taiden.  I’m definitely looking forward to the next story in the series.
