Feline the Spark is the fourth title in the Celestial Pines series, and brings one love-wary witch and one commitment-averse shifter together where they’re meant to be… together as true fated mates..  They might be mates, but Sylvie and Nicholas have quite the adventure to travel through before they finally acknowledge that their mate bond isn’t a spell gone wrong, but their destiny.

I loved this addition to a series I fell in love with from the start.  Nicholas isn’t the love-and-leave ‘em playboy that Sylvie believes him to be.  There is a solid reason, at least in his mind, why he is afraid to commit to one person… even when his tiger is screaming “mate” at every single opportunity.

Sylvie believes in details, in the control of magic, and certainly not in destiny, especially not with the biggest playboy shifter ever to walk the streets of Celestial Pines.  She can accept that somehow she’s magically bound them through a miscast spell.  But believing what they feel together is actually real is beyond her logic-based abilities.  The intensity of their efforts at spell-breaking, even when faced with the danger it involves, was an intriguing journey.  They fought hard against being mated… but fate (and they) win in the end.  I loved this story and hope there will be more Celestial Pines stories to come.

If you love a well-written, gripping, steamy, and emotional shifter romance with touches of humor and danger, then you’d love Feline the Spark by Kala Aster and Milly Taiden.
