There are admittedly strange things going on at the Shifting Sands Resort, an exclusive vacation spot for shifters.  The mission is to find out how shifters are going missing after or during their stays at this private resort.  Tony is having no luck with the owner / manager of Shifting Sands.  It seems she is out to make his job as difficult as possible.  It was a hindrance and an annoyance… right up until Amber walked into the room and absolutely everything in his life spun on a dime and changed.

Amber has been talked into taking this vacation by her best friend.  And really, why not?  She’d have one last adventure before settling down and picking one of the lackluster men from her small Midwest town to make a boring life with.  She didn’t expect anything more than that – ever.  It was her life, being disappointed.  Beginning with her earliest years when she’d been abandoned on the church steps, even her parents didn’t want her, so she had no great hopes of a romance that shook the rafters.  But she certainly wouldn’t mind a vacation fling… especially if that handsome man watching her from across the room were to offer – oh heck, she’d go offer herself, it was a no strings vacation after all.

Tropical Tiger Spy is such a fun and sexy story.  Tony recognizes Amber as his mate right away, but Amber doesn’t seem to understand what mates are – she feels the pull toward Tony, but in her mind it’s only an exquisite vacation sexual marathon fling.  Still she’d wish for more but didn’t believe it was possible.  Amber is a rare cat shifter and her uniqueness has left her searching for others like her.  Perhaps she might even find her parents, but so far she’s the only cat of her kind she knows.

I happen to be a reader who loves to find “Easter Eggs” in stories.  Not all authors do this, but I know the ones who do… and I wasn’t disappointed to finally read the line I’d been waiting for.  I’m betting you’ll chuckle too when you put together our hero’s name, the type of shifter he is… and one famous line.  *grin*

I enjoyed Tony and Amber’s romance very much.  There are plenty of unique and unusual shifters at the Shifting Sands Resort and I’m looking forward to more stories set in this tropical paradise.

If you love Shifter Romance then you’d be delighted with this one.  Fast paced, super hot sexy times and a mystery that will entice you to keep reading.  Now to wait for the next story in this series.
