There is earthquake-like activity in one part of the Adirondack mountains that, well, it shouldn’t be happening at all.  One determined to discover the cause geologist is about to set out in freezing conditions to discover what the rumbles are  – and steps into another world that she’s only heard about before.  Rachel’s quest for answers will find her in danger, attacked by something she’s never seen before and fighting for her life.  Her only hope for survival lies i n the arms of a stranger, one man who will change her life forever.

Dragon shifter Brad Bannik has a mere week to find his mate.  Truth is he’s been searching for her most of his life, but now that dreaded family curse’s deadline is fast approaching.  If he cannot find her by his 25th birthday, which is a week away, then he’ll spend the remainder of his life alone, without a mate.  The last thing he wants to be doing right now is scouting out the area around his family’s lair in the Adirondacks  The rumbles coming from the mountain are not being naturally produced, at least they shouldn’t be.  His uncle believes that the unthinkable is happening – another dragon clan is searching for their lair and hoard.  This would cause a war for by honor and decree dragons simply do not mess with another family’s hoard… ever, unless they want a war – or are extremely stupid.  When Brad discovers an injured woman who has fallen from an overlook, his first thought is to rescue her by getting her out of the cold.  He’s taking a chance by going to his family’s lair but if he doesn’t this lovely woman will not survive.  At that moment Brad is still unaware that he’s saving his mate – but that oversight will soon come to light.

The Mountain Dragon’s Curvy Mate is a fun  shifter romance full of banter, dragon magic, sexy times and danger.  There are details within this story that could perhaps become a series one day.  Whenever there is talk of siblings within one of Zoe Chant’s stories, I’m always going to be on the lookout for more stories surrounding those characters.

This story is fun, sexy with a touch of danger.  It’s definitely worth your time, and I’d not hesitate to recommend this story to any Paranormal Romance or Shifter Romance reader.  Rachel and Brad make a fun couple… and Uncle Doug, well he’s something else.  *grin*  Pick this one up, I believe you’ll enjoy it.
