Lia Reyes found out her boyfriend was cheating on a Thursday morning. The Bear’s Bartender is the eighth title in the Steamy Shifters series by a new-to-me author.  I’m not sure how I missed this author’s work, but I’m glad to have discovered it now.  I see some entertaining reading ahead as I catch up on this series.  This is a quick read, and everything you’d need to know before picking it up is in the cover description… to say more would be heading into spoiler territory, which I try not to do.

I enjoyed Lia and Wes very much; their story is both sweet and steamy, witty and tender, with more than a few laugh-out-loud moments.  It’s well-written, a bit emotional, definately steamy and kept me entertained throughout.  Lia, a human, may not have known about the shifter world when she applied at Wes’s bar, but what she discovered there ended up being the best choice she’d ever made.  I had fun here, and I’ll be returning to the series.
