Tempting the Alpha begins the Temptation series with an intense Paranormal Romance/Shifter Romance that will keep you on edge throughout.   Rubi uses her beauty to get what she wants.  At first, she came off to me as a spoiled brat who wants what she wants right now, no matter how or what she has to do to get it.  And she wants Christian.  Oh, babe, be careful what you wish for, you just might get it… and far more than you imagined.  Christian is… intense, and holds secrets like precious gems, close and under his control.  He wants Rubi just, if not more, than she wants him, if not for all the same reasons that is.

Rubi and Christian’s story is full of secrets, misdirections, lies, hidden agendas, and more twists and turns than a mountain road.  I enjoyed their story; it is undoubtedly full of intrigue and steaminess.  And it ends on a cliffhanger… 

Yeah.  Cliffhanger, I dislike a cliffhanger ending, especially when it sneaks up on me.  Fortunately, the next book in this series is available now, so I can find out what happens next quickly.  In the meantime, I was intrigued by Rubi and Christian’s story, and I am wondering what further surprises await us as their story continues in Tempting the Alphas.  If you enjoy a deeply intriguing, steamy romance of the supernatural kind (and don’t mind a cliffhanger), then you’d love Tempting the Alpha.
