Rejected by My Stepbrother Alpha begins the Billionaire Shifter Club series with Ivy’s and Asher’s tumultuous relationship.  Ivy’s mother married Asher’s father, which technically makes them related, yet not really.  She’s always been attracted to Asher, perhaps feeling the mate bond much sooner than he did.  Asher has always acted cool, almost indifferent to Ivy, mainly because he suspects her of being in league with her gold-digging mother.  Yet, along with the disdain he feels is also an attraction that he’ll try to ignore, unsuccessfully.  

When they are slated to be wed during a mating ceremony, Asher will let his anger loose as he rejects Ivy, his fated mate, in front of their entire pack.  Devastated, Ivy will run away, carrying a secret that could have given them everything she’d dreamed of with the man she loves.  Seven years later, fate will bring them together again, and the passion and the danger they face will change lives forever.

I always love getting started on a new series, and I so enjoyed Rejected by My Stepbrother Alpha by Flora R. Leigh.  It’s a well-written, passionate, intriguing shifter romance filled with misconceptions, threats, danger, and a love that cannot be denied.  If you love a shifter romance that keeps you on edge waiting for what happens next, a couple who obviously belong together, and a few twists to keep things interesting, then you’d love Ivy and Asher’s story.
