Protector Wolf brings us two people who once had a fling full of scorching chemistry, but they weren’t ready for that forever thing then and went their separate ways. Now Skye is in need of a security expert to guard a young patient she’s come to care about. Young Caleb has witnessed his father’s murder, and then the murder of his foster parents. Left for dead, Caleb has survived but won’t for long if these murderers get wind of his survival. While she hasn’t seen Brandon in years, instinctively she knows that he will do everything possible to keep them both safe.
Brandon has had Skye on his mind for a long time now. He’s realized that he let his mate get away, but when she’s suddenly back in his life once more the possibilities seem endless. The chemistry is still burning hot, but this time around their love will burn even hotter. Caleb is a unique little boy, and he will soon need Brandon for more than protection.
I enjoyed Protector Wolf very much. I don’t know if it is the end of the series, for I haven’t seen additions to it for some time now. If so, then this is a series that you’ll want to add to your reading list. Skye and Brandon are a compelling couple. Their shared history helps to smooth some of the way for them, the trust is there from the start and that matters. Definitely sexy, hot and smoldering sexy times can be found in this story. Caleb captured my heart and I’m sure he’ll do the same to you.
In all, this was a very satisfying shifter romance and one that I’d happily recommend for anyone who enjoys Paranormal Romance or Shifter Romance.
