We first met Stella in her sister, Lynn’s story (Lion’s Lynx), unfortunately we also met the ex-boyfriend who was giving her trouble then and continues to stalk her now – even after he and his so called pack thoroughly got their butts stomped.  We’ve also seen the uncomfortable relationship between the sisters slowly change from almost adversary to closer to true sisters, and that closeness will continue to grow as we travel through Stella’s romance in Panther’s Passion.  I’m glad we got Stella’s story right after Lynn’s for there is growth on both women’s parts in this story that close the circle and the two stories back to back tell a more complete tale of one family and the changes that happen.

Nate is the head of his own security company that has grown to the point where his job now consists of more paperwork than actually being in the field.  Getting the call from a friend he’d served with in the military was a welcome relief, and an interesting job that needed done… now.  No woman should ever have to put up with being stalked and Nate was on a plane within hours.  He had no idea that he’d finally discover the mate he wasn’t really searching for.

Stella and Nate’s romance is intense, sizzling and a coming home for many characters in different ways.  Stella will finally discover that her “no regrets” lifestyle is understood and not condemned.  She’ll also discover that with the right person, staying makes more sense than running away when things get rough.  Her love and devotion to her daughter, Eva, is wonderful to watch… and there is just a hint of something going on in Eva’s life that has my curiosity sparked.  We’ll get to run into other characters from the Veteran Shifters and the Glacier Snow Leopards series which is always a treat for me.  Nate is everything I could have wished for as a mate for Stella.  Understanding, protective, hot to the point of sizzles and willing to do whatever it takes to make his mate and her daughter comfortable with him and safe in general.

I had a blast with Panther’s Passion and definitely cannot wait for the next story in the Veteran Shifters series.  If you love Shifter Romance and enjoy watching one disgusting jerk get his dues, then this story is for you.  I would not hesitate to recommend this story and the series to any Paranormal Romance or Shifter Romance reader.
