I thought I’d escaped him—and the nightmare of the werewolves.  Until my daughter lost control, and I was forced back into his world.

Samuel Frost. Alpha. Ruthless. Dangerous.  The man who broke my heart fifteen years ago—before I learned I was carrying his child.

Now he’s back, claiming he’ll protect us, calling my daughter his heir.  But his family hunts anything tainted by human blood—and our child is everything they despise.

I tell myself I can stay away.  But sharing the same air, the same bed…every look burns, every breath reminds me what it’s like to be his again.

And when the Council demands my daughter’s blood, will he choose power again—or us?

Title:  Legacy Alpha’s Hidden Mate
Series:  Standalone

My Rating:  4 stars

Legacy Alpha’s Hidden Mate is a standalone title.  Roughly fifteen years ago, Vivian and Samuel had a brief, passionate relationship.  She’s human, he’s a wolf shifter, and soon-to-be Alpha with a pack full of intrigue and danger. There came the day when it seemed that Samuel had ghosted her, disappearing completely.  At the time, Vivian was heartbroken…and pregnant.  She fled, changed her name, and continued on with a safe life, protecting, raising her daughter, Seli.  Until Seli turned 14, when her powers, abilities came into play and tossed them both into immediate danger.  Only with her daughter in danger would Vivian seek out Samuel, for they desperately needed his help.  But what if finding Samuel only plunged Vivian and Seli into a different kind of danger?

I enjoyed Legacy Alpha’s Hidden Mate by Flora R. Leigh.  It’s well-written, intriguing, passionate, and full of lies, betrayals, murder, and secrets.  There were reasons for Samuel’s silence, and only by dealing with the past can this family face a future together.
