Faked Being Alpha’s Fated Mate is the second title in The Human Luna series.  This time we’re about to meet Clara, a lowly witch, a tarot reader, and well, sometimes con artist (for a very good reason), who is about to get caught up in Court drama, political chaos… and one determined shifter who just happens to be her King.  Are they chosen or fated mates?  I think that’s up to each reader’s interpretation because, for me, if they’re chosen, then weren’t they also fated to meet?  A minor interpretive detail in a story that kept me engaged throughout, often on the edge of my seat as Clara and Leonis battle it out, verbally and passionately, over their actual relationship status.  

I enjoyed the political intrigue, the Court shenighans, and watching Clara and Leonis fall into something far more than either expected.  One misdirection led to a lifelong bond that is ultimately unbreakable.  Their story is passionate, intriguing, emotional, and completely satisfying.  If that sounds like your kind of Shifter Romance, then you’d love Leonis and Clara’s story in Faked Being Alpha’s Fated Mate.  I know I certainly did.
