It took no time at all to be totally wrapped up in Quinn and Moira’s story. Each are heading to the island of West Haven for a restart on life. Moira because the partner in her art galleries turned out to be a crook, and Quinn because he has no interest in the family business of finance and wants to prove himself as a full time artist. Neither expected to find their perfect match in each other especially since shifters and fairy are not encouraged to become involved romantically… really just this side of forbidden and banned discouraged. It’s going to take a bit of quick thinking, a touch of magic and a lot of luck from Moira’s family to pull off this matchmaking scheme of her aunt’s.
I enjoyed my time in this new world very much. It’s always a treat to get in on the beginning of something new like the Shifters in Love – Fun & Flirty line, especially with authors lined up that I already read and enjoy. Isadora Montrose’s new series Mystic Bay is going to be a delight to visit, and I hope we get the chance often. I expected some world building at the start, and the world that’s being created is enchanting… in more than a few ways. A small town full of various paranormal folks from fairy to sorcerer to shifter and all things in-between. Like any small town this one is full of gossip, their own rules and their own ideas of who is highest in reputations and placement of importance. Their rules are often quite silly now decades or longer since they were put into place. And it was fun watching Quinn, Moira and her aunt Robin work their ways around those not quite set in stone rules.
Moira and Quinn’s romance if fun and funny, full of surprises, steamy moments and taking chances. I loved them and I believe you will, too. I’d recommend Desired by the Dragon to any Paranormal Romance or Shifter Romance reader who enjoys humorous, lively story that give a chuckle and touch your emotions.
