Dark Dragon’s Brutal Decision is the 63rd title in the Company 417 Shifters series.  This time, we’ll discover if Miranda and Arturo can trust in their bond, their love beyond the secrets that Arturo is holding back.

As a dragon shifter and as a firefighter, there are times when Arturo has to make difficult choices.  The unwanted fact is that he cannot save everyone, every time, from each fire he fights.  One such time haunts him, and when he meets Miranda at a memorial for people who perished in a fire, where he had to make one of those impossible decisions, an instant attraction flares between them.  His mate was deeply hurt when he wasn’t able to save the man she intended to marry from a fire where he had been able to save her and several other people.  Arturo isn’t sure how they will be able to get beyond that choice once Miranda discovers all of his secrets.

Dark Dragon’s Brutal Decision by Amelia Wilson may be a short story, but it packs a very powerful emotional punch.  Arturo and Miranda drew me into their story from the start, and watching them connect was a wonderful journey.  If you love an intense, emotional, well-written shifter romance that will break your heart before it’s healed once again, then Miranda’s and Arturo’s story is one you’ll simply devour.
