Bluecollar Bear is a fun Shifter Romance with a bit of a stalker twist.  Tory is starting over in the small town of Black Oak.  Her career was ended by an injury and now she’s settling into another life.  A life that brings her face to face with one very handsome man.  Pierce has two left feet and no hopes of not crushing his partner’s feet during the wedding dances at his friend’s rapidly approaching wedding.  The bride had the brilliant idea (insert male sarcasm into that phrase) to get the entire wedding party dancing lessons.  He was completely reluctant about this until he met the dance instructor – his mate.

In this world shifters are known simply not in everyone’s face, they still prefer privacy and out of the way places.  So Tory had no idea that she’d resettled into a shifter town.  Pierce has been a lady’s man, a man who lived life for the good times until a recent loss taught him the lessons he should have been paying attention to long ago.  He’s recently broken up with a woman who believed they had forever in their future – they did not since Bonnie is not his mate.  And there comes the stalker aspect of this story.  Tory is not a very trusting soul, she’s been hurt, she’s been burned and sees life with mistrustful eyes.  Watching Pierce overcome her fears was charming.  They definitely have steamy sparks so expect sexy times.

I enjoyed my time in this world and I’ll be continuing the series.  I’d recommend Bluecollar Bear to any Paranormal Romance or Shifter Romance reader who enjoys a lively story, believable characters and a few chuckles tossed in for good measure.
