A Bear to Ruin continues the Kodiak Mates series with an intense romance that is sultry, sexy, and definitely has more than just a Dom/Sub feel to it.  Cal and Margot make an intriguing couple for several reasons.  While Margot may have been sent to her father’s friend’s clan to escape the chaos she created with her tendency to set things on fire there actually was a very good reason behind her actions – of course, one that no one would listen to at the time.  And as a very unwilling babysitter, Cal is not inclined to cut Margot any slack, in fact, quite the opposite as he’ll either ignore her or push her beyond even her wolf shifter abilities.

Everything you really need to know before picking up A Bear to Ruin is in the cover description.  What I found within this story is an emotion-packed romance between two unlikely people.  Yes, the Dom/Sub storyline will set your e-reader aflame, but also the emotions that both Cal and Margot are uncovering will keep you flipping pages to see how they finally get their happily ever after ending.  There is just enough danger to Margot to add to the growing tensions between this couple.  I liked them and loved watching Cal’s attitude slowly begin to change as he learns the truth and lets those growing feelings take over his heart.

If you love a good, well-written, sexy-as-sin romance then A Bear to Ruin (or this entire series) is a perfect match for you.
